What’s the best Christmas gift you have ever received? The potential lists of answers are unlimited. Yet, let me propose that the greatest gift is HOPE. 

The Mullins family received a God Will Make A Way grant and gave us an update just in time for Christmas. They went to Colombia to meet their daughter, Luz, which means “light” in Spanish. During the season dedicated to seeing in Jesus the Light of the World, here is the next chapter of their story:  

“We ran into some additional delays during the final steps of our process with Colombia, but God is so good and we can see His hand on this entire process! We finally received our travel date for Colombia … Since then, we have been in Colombia finalizing the process. We had an unexpected two-week delay during our time here, but it's been a great time to bond as a family. Luz is an amazing 13-year-old, and we are absolutely in love! Her joy and laughter brighten our lives, and we are so grateful that she's ours. It's crazy how much she's like each of us!

After 8 weeks in Colombia, it's finally time!! We just want to thank GWMAW and the support you gave to help make this possible. Shortly after we got her, she told me she wasn't sure she was going to be adopted anymore. You all helped give a child hope for her future, and there are not enough words to express what that truly means to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

We hope that knowing your generosity has given hope will be the greatest Christmas gift of all. Your contributions have helped turn on the light. We cannot wait to continue adding pictures to our GWMAW “family” scrapbook. We want to continue giving hope, changing family trees, and shining a light on the power of the Gospel through adoption.
